margin:0 0 0 0; ' class='av-special-heading av-special-heading-h1  blockquote modern-quote  avia-builder-el-5  el_before_av_textblock  avia-builder-el-first  '><h1 class='av-special-heading-tag '  itemprop=\"headline\"  >ABOUT US<\/h1><div class='special-heading-border'><div class='special-heading-inner-border' ><\/div><\/div><\/div><br \/>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Knappg\u00e5rden Fj\u00e4llpension \/ Fj\u00e4llhotel is located at the highest point of S\u00e4rnaheden with magnificent views over northern Dalarna\u2019s fj\u00e4lls\/mountains and \u00d6sterdal\u00e4lven river meandering below.<\/p>\n<p>The pension\/hotel is run by Annika and Kjelle.<\/p>\n<p>Kjelle re-trained to chef after 10 years as a hairdresser in Stockholm. For a committed fisherman and hunter the raw ingredients are obviously key, and already during his studies he was selected to the final of \u2018 \u00c5rets Viltkock\u2019 (This year\u2019s Game Chef) in Haparanda in competition with many highly acclaimed chefs. After that Kjelle has not competed but nevertheless delighted with his cooking in reputable restaurants such as on small expedition boats.<\/p>\n<p>Annika started her catering career as a 15 year old first in Bohusl\u00e4n, in her home county, followed by ski seasons in S\u00e4len and \u00c5re then Breckenridge in Colorado before she moved to Knappg\u00e5rden and S\u00e4rnaheden in 1987.
